This is a classic style of pool coping. It features a completely rounded edge. Typically, our customers choose bullnose pool coping when they have traditionally designed pool area.

The benefit of the bullnose is that it provides an ergonomic rounded grip. Therefore, it fits comfortably in your hands when you pull yourself out of the pool. Also, it you’re standing on the edge of the pool, it moulds comfortably around your bare feet.

Drop Edge (Rebate) Travertine Pool Coping

For a more modern pool look, customers prefer drop face pool coping. As the name suggests it “drops” over the edge of the pool at a right angle.

This style of pool coping creates a chic, clean cut look that most modern homes desire.

Drop face pool coping also looks great because the travertine “drops” over the edge of the pool. Therefore, it conceals the pool adhesive under the pool coping. The pool adhesive is a thin glue line that is only visible when you’re in the pool. However, many customers prefer drop edge pool coping for an overall neater look. You can also choose the length you’d like the drop to extend into your pool.
